Born and raised in Patterson, NJ, he was a resident of Rahway, NJ before relocating to Lakewood three years ago. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II. Edward retired from NJ transit after a 24 year career with the railroad.
He is survived by his wife Philomena; a daughter, Gina; a step-son, James Fezza and his wife Jo Ann, three sisters, Florence, Myrtle, and Gladys; a grandchild, Mackenzie; and several nieces and nephews.
Vistation will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. His funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
