Frank Frank V. Purvis

Frank was born on February 18, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, and he was the son of the late Anna and Frank Purvis. He was a resident of Passaic, NJ before moving to Toms River ten years ago. He was honorably discharged after serving in the US Air Force. Frank was a professional truck driver for Alfred Heller Heat Treating in Clifton, NJ, before retiring after over 35 years of service.

Husband of the late Lucille M. Purvis, he is survived by his son Thomas V. Purvis and his wife Sharon; a grandchild, Ashley Purvis; a brother Robert Purvis and his wife Diane; a sister, Barbara Carosella and her husband Peter; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. His funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the St. Mary of the Lake Church, 43 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddlebrook, NJ.
