George Henry Heiser, age 55, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at home. George was born on September 15, 1957 in Lakewood, New Jersey. He was a resident of Lakewood for most of his life until moving to Brick 15 years ago. George was carpenter for 30 years. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke on the television and was an avid fisherman. George was a devoted father with a big heart, and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him. George was predeceased by his father, Gerald Heiser and his late sister, Janet Heiser. He is survived by his beloved companion of 29 years, Colleen Carney; his mother, Carol Blakeley; four children, Stacey Izzo of Brick, NJ, George Heiser, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Megan Heiser of Brick, NJ, and Jessica Carney of Brick, NJ; four grandchildren, Tamara Heiser, Tiffany Heiser, Yamelis Heiser and Tatiana Heiser; two brothers and three sisters, Jack Daniels, John Heiser, Helen Heiser, Colleen Latyshev, and Patricia Hornak. There will be a memorial service 10 a.m. Friday in the Church of the Epiphany, 615 Thiele Rd Brick, NJ 08724.
