Gilbert Carlson, 53, passed away September 14, 2010 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. he was a graduate of Trenton State, then went on to obtain his master’s at Georgian Court University in Lakewood. Gilbert was an avid ocean lover where he enjoyed being a lifeguard for twenty years and rowing his dory. He was a loving father, husband, and uncle and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors: Gilbert is survived by his wife of 13 years Susan, one daughter, Kyle, one son, Bryan, one sister, Regina, one brother, Bob, his mother Mary, and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Friends may call Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 2-4 at the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10AM at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private
