Gladys A. Hunter, 99, passed away June 29, 2011 at her home in Lakewood, NJ. Mrs. Hunter was born on July 20, 1911 in North Plainfield, NJ, she then moved to Lavallette for 32 years before settling in Lakewood for the past 12 years. She spent many years boating up and down the Inland Waterway between NJ and Florida with her husband Clayton of 65 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Hunter is predeceased by her husband Clayton L. in 2003. Gladys is survived by son Clayton L. Jr. and his wife Maureen of NH, granddaughter, Karen Fisher and her husband Todd, two great grandsons, Ryley and Casey, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately.
