Hans Peter Janssen

Hans was the devoted husband and soulmate of Anna Janssen, with whom he shared 61 beautiful years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to Tina Tolbert and her husband Wayne, and a dear brother to George Dutton Jr. He was also a cherished uncle to his nieces and nephews: Jennifer Nuzzi (Matt), Zelda Nuzzi, Walter Beszley, Timmy Beszley, David Dutton, and Amanda Dutton. He leaves behind his sister-in-law, Carol Catone, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Hans proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and was stationed in Panama. After returning home from his service, he married the love of his life, Anna, beginning the lifelong journey they so joyfully shared.

He found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. An avid gardener, Hans was especially proud of his often-overgrown crops of tomatoes and peppers. He loved spending time fishing, was a talented guitar player, and never missed an opportunity to “cut a rug” dancing with Anna. Above all, he will be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and the warmth and laughter he brought to every gathering.
