Heriberto was born on May 9, 1954 in Yauco, Puerto Rico. He was a former factory worker in Lakewood, NJ. He enjoyed attending the Cox fights in Puerto Rico.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Quinones; his son, Carlos Velez and Berto Velez; nine siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be private.
