Israel "Joe" Rosado, 75, passed away January 12, 2014 at his home in Lakewood. Mr. Rosado was born and raised in New York City, he raised his family in Hackensack and Parsippany, before moving to Garfield for a few years then settling in Lakewood, NJ. He was the owner/operator for Rosado Electric for many years and he also worked for Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission for many years. He was an avid reader and loved to cook. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Rosado is predeceased by his brother Charles “Lefty” Medina. Israel is survived by his wife of 53 years, Catina, children, Carmen Vala, Elizabeth Mack and her husband Bill, and Susan Rosado, and grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Christian, and Cory.
