Jennie Subervi, age 93, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Atlantic Coast Healthcare Center in Lakewood, NJ. Jennie was born July 24, 1928 in Riverstone, Puerto Rico. Jennie was a former resident of Brooklyn, NY and Jackson, NJ, before moving to Lakewood over 50 years ago. Jennie was an active and devoted member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Lakewood for many years.
Jennie is survived by her three sons Glenn Subervi (Joanne); Gary Subervi, and Elliott Subervi; her siblings, Edith, Angelo and Richie; and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. Jennie was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth Carde and a brother Angelo Garcia.
Her life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the Christ United Methodist Church, 678 5th Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701. A repast will immediately follow in the church fellowship hall.
