Joan Savino, 82, of Toms River, passed away at Community Medical Center, Toms River, on December 18, 2009. Born in Newark, NJ, she resided in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Toms River 11 years ago. She was a salesperson for Haband, Manchester for a few years before retiring 2 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband Vincent in 1995. She is survived by her children and spouses, Joyce & Dominic DiGrazio, East Hanover, NJ; Debbie & Richard Herbert, Verona, NJ; Jo Ann & Stephen Herr, Hopatcong, NJ and Vincent Savino, Woodbridge, NJ; 8 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren; her sister, Peggy Quadrel, Montville & Helen Archer, California and her companion, Joe Borne.Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 at D'Elia Funeral Home, Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ. Funeral service will be at 7:30pm on Monday. Cremation will be private.
