Karl E Johnson

Karl E. Johnson, 88, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He was a resident of Harrogate Retirement Community, Lakewood, NJ, and prior resident of Greensburg, PA. Beloved husband of 56 years to his late wife Ann (Moyer). Loving father to Carol (Paul) Zicker of Toms River, NJ, and Russell (Evonne) Johnson of Pittsburgh, PA. Proud grandfather to Ashleigh, Laura, Stephen and Evan. He is survived by his brother, Ken Johnson, of Montoursville, Pennsylvania.

He was an accountant with MW Kellogg for over 25 years before finishing his career at United Cerebral Palsy of Western Pennsylvania. He volunteered and was treasurer of several community organizations. Those who worked with Karl remember him as dedicated, diligent, and a man of integrity.

Karl enjoyed nature, traveling, and restoring antiques. He loved exploring Pennsylvania's woodlands, fishing secluded streams, and chasing whitetails. He was a patriot and a veteran of the Marine Corps.

In lieu of flowers, he asks that you make a donation to the US Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. At his request, there will be no visitation and a memorial celebration of life is planned for a later date. Arrangements by D'Elia Funeral Home Route 70 & Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701
