Marlene Rae Gross Roseman

Marlene Rae Roseman, 80, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Alcouer Gardens Care Center in Toms River, NJ. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she was a former resident of Staten Island before moving to Toms River 19 years ago. She was a retired bookkeeper. Marlene enjoyed playing Mah-Jong, shopping, and dancing. She loved spending time with her family. Daughter of the late Ann and Murry Gross, she is survived by her beloved husband Jerry; 2 children, Robert Roseman and Ellen Madden; a brother, William Grosser; and 5 grandchildren, Ian and Hallie Roseman, and Sarah, Rachel, and Josh Madden. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Shiva will be observed after the ceremony on Sunday evening, and again on both Monday and Tuesday from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at her residence.
