Robert Boyle

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Boyle lived in Lakewood for the last 12 years.

He served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked as a pressman for the New York Post for 40 years retiring in 1992, and belonged to the American Legion and the Am vets of Jackson, NJ. He enjoyed Bowling and Softball.

Mr. Boyle was predeceased by his son David in 1982 and his two brothers Eugene and Donald. He is survived by his loving wife Gloria of 35 years, a son Joseph of North Hampton MA; two sisters Joan Wright of Jackson, NJ; Bernice Spista of Greenwood IN, a daughter-in-law Delores Metacarpa, and many Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 9th at 10:30 am, St. Mary of the Lake Church 43 Madison Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be private.
