Robert was born in Point Pleasant and lived in Lakewood and Howell for most of his life before moving to Jackson a couple of years ago.
He was a self-employed painter and dry-wall contractor for many years before his retirement.
Robert coached little league for many years and he liked to train horses as well.
He was a avid fisherman and hunter.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Brokaw, a son, Robert Brokaw, Jr. and a daughter, Laura Lisi. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Robert Brokaw III, Anthony Brokaw, and Hailey Brokaw.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. A memorial service will begin at 7:30 p.m. during the memorial gathering.
