

Rosemarie Bloom, age 84, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ. She was born in New York, NY and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Minnie Vitacco. Rosemarie was a former resident of Massapequa, NY before moving to the Greenbriar Woodlands section of Toms River over 30 years ago. She was a retired legal secretary who served Lawrence Hammer’s firm in Massapequa. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Giannattasio and the late Arnold Bloom and sister of the late Carole Helton, and is survived by her loving children, Pamela Kennedy and her husband Mark of Houston, TX and Susan Picken and her husband Bill of Toms River, NJ; 4 cherished grandchildren, Kristie Kretiv and her husband Michael, William Picken, IV., Jake Picken and Alexandra Picken, and two cherished great grandchildren, Mason Kretiv and Chase Kretiv; a niece, Karen Turkowski and a nephew, John Helton. Visitation will be Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
