

Theresa “Terry” Yack, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 25th. Born on December 14, 1933, in Newark, New Jersey, Terry was the beloved daughter of the late Jennie and Martin Chiara.
Terry is survived by her devoted partner of 20 years, Ronald Medei; her daughter Stacy Thiebault and her husband Ricky; her son Jeffrey Cupolo; her grandsons Nicholas Cupolo and Jeffrey Cupolo Jr.; her grand-dog Gidget; her sisters Sarah Klein and Marta Musiakiewicz, and Marta’s husband Ken. She is also remembered fondly by many extended family members and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved son Kevin Cupolo, her former husband Vincent Cupolo, and her sister JoAnn Miller.
Terry was known for her deeply giving and thoughtful nature. She had a special joy in selecting small, meaningful gifts for the people she loved—tokens that reflected her attentiveness and generous heart. She loved to dance and treasured the time she spent playing mah jong with her friends and sisters, moments filled with laughter and companionship.
A talented knitter, Terry donated countless hats and blankets to premature babies at local hospitals, quietly offering warmth and comfort to families she never met. Earlier in life, she proudly owned and operated an ice cream shop, Terry’s Guernsey Cow, a place that reflected her hardworking spirit and love of bringing happiness to others.
Terry was a faithful member of Saint Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, where her faith guided her life and her kindness toward others.
She will be remembered for her compassion, her generosity, and the love she shared so freely. Terry’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.
