

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a resident of Pompton Lakes and Wayne for many years then finally moving to the Fairways in Lakewood for the past 13 years. He was a graduate of Pompton Lake’s High School and he then continued his education at Upsala. Mr. Boyle served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. While in Pompton Lakes Thomas was an involved little league coach for many years. He worked for GMAC for 40 years, retiring in 1995 as a sales manager. Thomas was an avid sports fan, namely the New York Giants. He was a loving husband, father, step father, grandfather and step grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 36 years Helen, one son, Bruce Boyle and his wife Susan, one daughter, Valerie Boyle, two step sons, Michael DeFabrizio and his wife Joy and Nicholas DeFabrizio and his wife Mary Beth, three grandchildren, Robert, Katrina, and Nicholas, and four step grandchildren, Sam, Kiara, Danielle, and Terri.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701, (732) 363-1987.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke’s Church, 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River, NJ 08755. Entombment will follow in Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
