Tinika Teresa Ford

Tinika Teresa Ford, age 39, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick Township, New Jersey. She was born in Philadelphia, Pensylvania on March 24, 1972. Tinika was a former resident of Deptford and Clementon, New Jersey, before relocating to Toms River, NJ three years ago. She was formerly employed with Bancroft NeuroHealth in Brick, New Jersey. Tinika enjoyed watching movies. She also was an avid photographer. Tinika enjoyed travelling. However, she is remembered most for being a devoted family person who loved spending time with her children, friends, and relatives. Tinika was the daughter of the late Annette Ford. She is survived by: her fiancé, Michael A. Holloway of Toms River, NJ; her two children, Crystal Ford-Stoms and Isiah Ford, both still living at home; her father, Fred Ford, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; her sisters, Latrece Ford or Blackwood, NJ and Joella Ford of Lumberton, NC; her brother, Fred Ford, Jr. of Austin, TX; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends will be received for a viewing on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral ceremony will follow the viewing at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home, and will be conducted by the Rev. Huger D. Ford. Cremation will be private.
