Valeria Josephine Doyle

Valeria Josephine Doyle (Olsovsky), age 91, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully on Friday at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ after a brief illness. Born in Allentown, PA on April 2, 1920, she was a resident of Lakewood for 66 years. She met her late husband James J. Doyle in 1944, and they married in 1945. They raised four children together. She was a homemaker who loved crocheting and her word puzzles. Wife of the late James J. Doyle, and grandmother of the late Emily, she is survived by 3 sons, James and his wife Barbara, John and his wife Theresa, and Michael and his wife Suzanne; a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Edward Rupp; 12 grandchildren, Eric, Megan, Katie, Kelly, Jacki, Kevin, Brendan, James, Timothy, Ryan, Michael, and Connor; 4 great grandchildren who were her “shining stars,” Ellyse, Andrew, Aidan, and Jack; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Holy Family Church, 1139 E. County Line, Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Burial will follow in St. Mary of The Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
