Veronica B. Kehr

Veronica B Kehr, 86, passed away November 16, 2013 at Shore Meadows Nursing Home in Toms River. Mrs. Kehr was born in Jersey City and spent most of her life in Metuchen. She worked for the Plymouth Printing company for many years as an office manager. Veronica was a member of the Rosary Society at St. Cecilia’s Church in Iselin and the Knights of Columbus in Iselin. She was an avid reader, bowler, sports enthusiast, and enjoyed her occasional glass of wine. sHe was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Kehr is predeceased by her parents Victor and Genofefa, sister Irene Kowalski and brother Chester Szoc. Veronica is survived by her children Karen Hinkley and her husband Joe and Charles E. Kehr Jr. and his wife Janice, grandchildren, Joseph, Jennifer, and Sabrina, and dogs, Candy, Lulu, Molly and Ollie.

Friends may call Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 4PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Veronica’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
