William Herbert Donovan, age 83, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, NJ. William was born on April 4, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, and he was the son of the late Wilhelmina (Helbig) and John L. Donovan. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a graduate of FDU in 1964. William was a past Grandmaster of the Masonic Temple in Bogota, NJ. He was a retired salesman. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Eleanor; daughters, Jean Eisenberg and Robin Mango; two grandchildren, Joseph Mango and Emily Eisenberg; and a sister Edith Hilbers. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
