Barbara Elaine Samuel Jones was born January 24, 1954 in Galveston, Texas. She was the daughter of Owen Samuel and Mary Thomas Samuel.Barbara was educated in the public schools of Dickinson, Texas and was a graduate of Dickinson High School. She was a longtime employee of McDonald's and was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roderick Cunningham.Barbara passed from this earthly life May 31, 2016 at her home.Left to cherish memories of her life are her devoted son, Icsom Jones Jr.; three grandchildren, Keshawn Jones, Icsom Jones Jr. and Josiah Jones; sisters, Phyllis Samuel, Lillie Mae Samuel; brother, Richard Samuel; and a host of family members and friends.
