Brian E Johns

Brian E. Johns was born February 6, 1967 in Galveston,Texas. He was the son of James C. Johns Sr and Frances Backstrom Johns. Brian was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas and was a 1986 graduate of La Marque High School. He furthered his education by attending Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. At an early age, he was baptized and was a member of Progressive Baptist Church in Texas City. Brian was a "gentle giant" and was loved by all who knew him. On August 17, 2012, Brian left this earthly life to begin his "new life" with the Lord. Left to celebrate memories of his life are his son, Corey Johns; grandson, Cayden Johns; his mother, Frances (Robert) Sowell; his father, James C. Johns Sr.; sisters, Renetta (Darryl) Roquemore, Pamela (Jeffery) Roberson and Cheryl Raven; brothers, James C. Johns, Jr. and Peter V. (Beverly) Johns; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, classmates, co-workers and friends.
