

On April 10, 1935 in Brenham, Texas, a handsome boy was born to Rev. Robert and Pinkie Rose Williams. They named him Curtis Williams. Curtis accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Curtis was educated in the public schools of Gay Hill and Somerville, Texas. Curtis was united in marriage to Doris R. Simpson. To this union five children were born. Curtis retired from 4c's Clinic in La Marque, Texas. On February 27, 2015, God called Curtis home to rest. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris R. Simpson-Williams; his son, Lorenzo Williams; daughter, Lynett Shaw; parents, Rev. Robert Williams and Pinkie Rose Williams; sister, Ruby Williams, brother, Roy and Nathaniel Williams; and great-granddaughters, Ja'Cobie Jones and VicTiyahna Williams. He leaves to cherish memories of his life: his children, Roy Earl Williams (Betty), Cheryl Evette Hadley (Chris), Curtis Williams Jr. (Tara); devoted daughter-in-law, Nancy Williams-Henderson; sisters, Edna Williams, Clara Brooks, Mozell Pete and Verna Watson; brothers, George Williams and Charles E. Williams (Shirley); his grandchildren, Lynnae Brown (Andre), Lorenzo Williams (Ashley), Valencia Hagan, Roy Dixon, Natkia Hadley, Natalie Lee (Nathaniel), Nathaniel Williams, Steven Williams, Brandi Swan, Robert Holmes, Jalyn Holmes, Brandon Holmes, Nakera Williams, Keosha Washington, Jessie Collins, Lucy Collins and Robert Kegler; 28 great-grandchildren; his devoted friends, Gregory, Josh, Rodney, Vanda and Squirrel; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
