

Deborah Ann Lamb Collins was born to the union of Frederick Lamb, Sr. and Marguerite Jules Lamb on December 2, 1956 in Galveston, Texas Deborah was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas and was a 1974 graduate of La Marque High School and attended Galveston College where she studied to become a LVN and late continued to become a RN. She used her knowledge as a RN and worked at Memorial Hospital of Galveston County, UTMB Hospital, and various nursing agencies until her health failed. At an early age, Deborah was baptized at Greater Bell Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City. The family later attended Progressive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. M. C. Bridges. Deborah was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Texas City under the leadership of Pastor Joel Clay. Preceded in death by her father, Frederick Lamb, Sr.; husband, Hayward Collins; brother, Ronald Banks; and grandparents, Alberta Davis, Willie Lamb, Octavia and Louise Buckley Jules, memories of Deborah's life will remain cherished in the hearts of her loving mother, Marguerite J. Lamb; sisters, Concielette Carter, Albertha Lamb-Tryals, Sherlinda Lamb-Hunton, DeWanna Lamb-Pleasant; brothers, Frederick Lamb Jr., Allen Lamb, Sr., Michael Lamb and Jonathan Lamb, David Lamb and Raven Kimble; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
