

A beautiful baby girl was born to the union of Theodore Calvin Winston Sr. and Robbie Jean Simpson Winston on January 27, 1953 in Galveston, Texas. They named their blessing, Dina R. Winston. Dina was educated in the public schools of La Marque, Texas where she attended Lincoln High School. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized. Her family fellowshipped with Primm Chapel AME Church and McKinney Memorial United Methodist Church in La Marque. She later united with Mt. Paran Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City. She was employed with the Transitional Learning Center in Galveston for several years and later owned and operated her own Personal Care Home. On December 9, 2015, God called His child home to rest. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robbie Jean and Theodore Calvin Winston, Sr.; and one brother, Renard Winston.Left to cherish memories of her life are her husband, Michael Evans; her son and daughter-in-law, Taras D. Winston and Perri A. Winston; sisters, Hazel Hawkins and husband, Joseph Hawkins, Debra Winston-Campbell, Cendie Winston Chimaobi and Rita Thomas and husband, Pastor Clayton Thomas; brothers, Theodore C. Winston Jr. and wife, Barbara, Jerome Winston and Gene Winston and wife, Joyce; two grandchildren, Taras D. Winston II and DaNae’ P. Winston; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
