Effie Mae Angel Jack

Effie Angel Jack, 81 years old of Texas City, TX passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on June 18, 2016 in La Marque, Texas at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Effie Mae Angel was born in Crowley, Louisiana on December 12, 1934. She graduated from Central High School in Galveston, Texas and continued her studies at the University of San Diego.Effie was married to Lionel Jack on October 25, 1952; they were married 63 years. Effie worked as a fulltime homemaker, master seamstress and lead designer at The Monogram Shop, and was the co-owner of "Jacques" alongside her husband for many years. She enjoyed doting on her grand children, the holidays, spending time with family, and watching her “stories”. Effie is survived by her SPOUSE: Lionel Jack, CHILDREN: Lionel Joseph Jack (Linda), Janet Jack, Donna Childress (Leonard), Tammy Nolan (Lloyd), Cheryl Jack and Erin Jack; GRANDCHILDREN: Sherri Linscomb-Woodard (Joshua), Amber Peoples (Jovell), Lionel Joseph Jack II (Teresa), Kimuel Hayley, William Montgomery, Taylor Nolan, Justin Montgomery, Jordan Nolan, Kayla Angel and Sire Smith; GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Tyger Turner, Chad Jack, Jovell Peoples Jr., Jacque Peoples, Marlo Jack (expecting soon) SISTER: Anna Angel Allen; SISTERS-IN-LAW, Jean Domio Angel, Geraldine Carroll, Emily Joy Johnson, Laura Jane Thomas, Elfa Williams and Estella Jack; BROTHERS-IN-LAW, Lionel Sweeny and Mayo Jack, Jr.; and other family and friends.Effie is preceded in death by her father and mother; Thomas & Anna Angel as well as her siblings; Rogers “T-Boy” Angel, Audrey Bell, Maudry Sweeny, Alexander Angel.
