Horace Bob

Horace Bob was born in Port Bella, Louisiana to the union of Reverend Direl Bob and Louise Mallett Bob.He was educated in the public schools of Louisiana and at the age of 10 accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at Little Zion Baptist Church in Port Barre, Louisiana by his father, Pastor Direl Bob.In the early 1960's he moved to Beaumont, Texas where he lived and worked as a Laborer and Mechanic.  He moved to Texas City in the early 2000's where he remained until the Lord called him home on July 22, 2016.  He is preceded in death by his children, Herbert Lee Bob, Gloria Armstrong, Reginald Bob and Ronald Bob Sr.; grandchildren, Larron Morris, John H. Corbin Jr., Micah Bob and Yolanda Gail Woodkins; and great-grandchildren, Kalani Corbin and Jordan Bob.Left to carry on his legacy are his children, Lee Roy Bob (Lue Dell), Horace Bob Jr. (Deborah), Loubertha Corbin (John H. Sr.), Joycelyn Lynch, Betty Jean Parker, Horace Guillory, Valerie Herring and Taurean Bob; daughters-in-law, Julia Bob and Sarah Bob; brothes, Doris Bobb Sr. and Irel Bobb Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
