John Edward Todd

John Edward Todd was born December 28, 1952 in Zwolle, Louisiana to the union of Mathis Todd and Nora Jackson Todd. He was educated in the public schools of Texas City. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Savior and attended Greater Barbour's Chapel Baptist Church in Texas City. John was employed with Texas City School District. On December 1, 2013, he departed this life to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his mother, Nora Jackson Todd and sister, Etta Marie Todd. Left to cherish memories of his life are his two daughters, Kimberly Johnson (Candace McCoy), Brandy Petty (Elder Rodney Petty. Jr.); two sons, Ronnie Mason and Patrick Yell; his father, Rev. Mathis (Minnie) Todd; his sisters, Linda Gail Todd, Shirley Todd and Cheryl Noel; his brothers, Lester Ray Todd (Gilda), Willie Todd, Robert Todd, Sr.; 9 grandchildren, Coren Johnson, Chrislyn Bell, and Carson Bell, Patrick Yell, Jr., Patrail Yell, Derek Yell, Ayonna Yell, Akira Yell and Jaylon Yell; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
