He will forever live in the hearts of his family, friends and loved ones. Joseph was born February 26, 1951 to the late Joseph Hendon and Mary Louise (M.L.) Bell. He was a previous member of Market Street Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor James B. Thomas. Joseph was previously employed for GISD. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were the Houston Rockets, Houston Texans and Houston Astros. He was a Christian Man after Gods own heart. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and his brother Larry Jerome Tyler. Joseph leaves cherished memories with his daughters, Alecia H. Mason (Brian), Benjetta West (William) and Taylor Harrison; his only granddaughter, Jasmine Harrison and his only great grandson, Brayden; grandsons, William and Christian, a nephew who he raised as his own son, D'Wyane (Tuffy) Smith; sisters, Sharon Joe Ann Gillins (LC), Adrimy Cox, And Carmell Bell ; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Special dedicated friends Maxine and Harold Mason, Lionel Fields, Eddie Tony Hardeman, Deborah Harrell-Feaster, Eddie Jones, George Simmons, Louis Simpson and the Ball High School class of 1969.
