On a special day on November 7, 1958, God's image of Kenneth Ray Sowell became flesh. He was a welcomed addition to his loving brothers and sisters. Kenneth was affectionately known as "Kenneth Ray" by his family; "Ken Wood" by his close friends "Paw Paw Kenneth" by his grandchildren, and "Dad' by his daughter. Kenneth as a young child was outgoing and spontaneous. He was nurtured in a loving Christian home. Kenneth Ray dedicated his life to the Lord at an early age and was baptized at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor B.W. McWashington.
