Michael Wayne Guy

Michael W. Guy was born March 4th,1962 in Galveston County, Texas to the union of Ennis and Vivian E. Guy. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Bell Zion Baptist Church along with his siblings, and the Anderson Street family, under the fellowship of the late Rev. Zephaniah Phillips. Michael was a resident of La Marque, Texas, and attended school in the La Marque Independent School District. Michael departed this life on April 1st,2014 at UTMB in Galveston, Texas with Family by his side. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ennis and Vivian E. Guy, Sisters; (Patricia Guy Jackson, Lynette Durant, Wanda Faye Morgan, and Sarah Lynn Tolbert.) Brothers; (Leroy Thompson Jr., and Achan R. Morgan). Left to cherish memories of his life are: "A very Devoted friend "who was by his side until the very end: Wanda Gamble of Texas City, a daughter: La Toya Obayuwana of Texas City, step daughters: Shanae Jones, and Shaundreka Yell of Texas City, step sons: Tobary Mc Farland, Raphael Thompson, Jamal Jenkins (deceased), Andre Jenkins, and Marcus Thompson (deceased); aisters: Irma Jean (Guy) Maxwell & Ray of Sacremento, California, Joyce (Guy) Allen & Willie of La Marque, Willie Mae Holt & Billie, Jennell Thompson, Linda (Guy) Thompson, Carolyn (Guy) Caligone, Tamicia Guy, all of Texas City. Avis Morgan, and Gaye Nell Morgan of Galveston; Brothers: Richard Morgan of Galveston, Jeffrey Guy (Brenda) of Katy, Kenneth Guy and Harrison Guy of La Marque; Grand children: Alis Obayuwana, Aryean Obayuwana, Aidan Obayuwana, Shakeria Morris, Rozilyn Morris, Christus Yell, and Terrin Young; a very devoted aunt, Irma Washington of Alexandria, La. A devoted cousin, Dorothy Sears of La Marque, God-mother: Mrs. Myrtle Matthews of La Marque, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , great friends, and other family members:
