

Tahara B. Goins, age 40, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2016, at Jeannie Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX. He was born June 2, 1976, in Galveston, TX, to Harry and Pamela James. He was a 1995 graduate of Hitchcock High School. He married LaKeisha Feast on February 12, 2006, in Texas City, TX. He worked as a Field Supervisor at HydroChem LLC for 12 years, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. He also shared a very close bond with his employees. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; music, gaming, and collecting hats, shoes, and electronics. He also enjoyed spending time with his son and nephews. Tahara was a loving father, a great son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He was loved by everyone who came in contact with him and had an infectious smile. “T-Goins” was such an inspiration to his family and friends. He was such a giving person that his heart beats on through his organ donation to which he will save and change many lives. He also had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He is preceded in death by his great grand parents Edward Sr. and Luberta Goins; great aunts, Sharon Goins, Alma Morris and Mrytle Carlisle; best friends, Johanus (JoJo) Faison and Edmond (Bam Bam) Charles Evans. He is survived by his wife, LaKeisha Feast Goins , son Tahara Goins Jr. ;step children Joshua, Taryn and Kenyesha; grandmother, Estella Goins; mother, Pamela Goins James; father, Harry James Jr.; three sisters, LaTashia Derouen ( Andre), Emily Townsend (Chris) and Ashley James; special nephews, Andre and Desmond Derouen; nieces, Ayanna and Mercedez; three uncles, Leonard Goins, Michael Goins (Quencelia), Roderick Goins (Sharnnetta); aunt, Rolisha Goins; a host of relatives, and friends.
