Adam Ward, age 54, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday April 22nd. 2026. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on July 15th, 1971. He graduated from Berne Union High School, but studied Culinary Arts at Eastland Career Center. Adam enjoyed collecting military and gun magazines and dreamed of being a US Marine. His health struggles put him on a different path. Adam was a survivor. The lifetime support of his mother allowed him to beat brain cancer as a child and repeatedly surpass the lifespan any of his doctors thought he would attain. Adam was a familiar face to the community from his years working at Lowe’s, Dunham Sports, Hills and Ames. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ward and step daughter Moyra Terrell. He also leaves behind his mother, Linda Durbin, and stepfather, David Durbin; his sister, Robin (Kathleen) Ward; and his brothers, Nathan (Chelsey) Ward and Matthew (Jennifer) Ward and his nieces and nephews.
