Bernice Richardson, age 92 of Lancaster, OH (formerly of Torrance, CA) passed away March 28, 2023 at her residence. Bernice worked at Hughes Aircraft, Torrance, CA for over 20 years prior to retirement. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Redondo Beach, CA. She loved her family and God's creation especially birds and going to arts and crafts fairs. Bernice's favorite Bible verses were John 14:1-3 and Isaiah 40:28-31.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Bessie Akers; daughter, Clara Sue Goodman; son, Jeff Richardson; brother, Larry E. Akers; sister, Amanda L. Spencer.
She is survived by her son, Byron K. (Judy) Richardson; son-in-law, Bill Goodman; sisters, Leslie (Jackie) Smith, Barbara Phillips, Joyce Akers, E. Sue Akers; brothers, Clyde E. Akers and Fred L. Akers, Jr.; grandchildren, Teresa Brooks, David (Alice) Brooks II, Mary Richardson; great grandchildren, Shawn, Brooklynn, Caysen, Elliott, Raelynn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
