Charles E. Butcher, 75, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday November 26, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. He worked for Anchor Hocking Corporation for 37 years and was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children, Rick Butcher, Toni McGraw (Dean Bresler), Karen Butcher and John (Stephanie) Mowery; special friend, Becky Mowery; grandchildren, Kaycee (Ron) Ball, Adam Dominick, River and Jubilee Mowery; great grandchildren, Logan, Lillian and Lucas Ball; sisters, Ora Lee Heskett and Edna Search, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, John and Lola Butcher, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at the New Lebanon Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Junction City. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions to American Lung Association or Faith Memorial Church in his memory.
