

Clark R. Miller, 91, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 with his family by his side. Born November 24, 1920 to the late William A. and Ethel (Clark) Miller Sr., Clark was a 1949 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1986 with 16 years of service, and also worked for Magnavox, Northrop and IBM during his career. Clark retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Air Force Reserve. He was a World War II Veteran of 50 combat missions over Southern Europe and was awarded the Bronze Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross, and 4 Air Medals.
He is survived by brother, James F. Miller of Mesquite, Nevada; son, Jeffrey C. (Patricia) Miller of Manassas, Virginia; grandchildren, Alicia D. and Marcus J. Miller of Centreville, Virginia; step-daughter Nikki (Mark) Friend of Lancaster; step-granddaughter, Jennifer N. Friend; nieces and nephews including Ellen (Don) Gilmore of Mesquite, Nevada, LiAnn (John) Carr and Doris Miller of Lancaster, and Penny (Robert) Nihiser of Logan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William A. Miller Jr., his first wife, Thelma L. Miller, and second wife, Dorothy G. Miller.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 17th at the Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1400 Concordia Dr., Lancaster OH 43130, with Reverend Doctor John C. Davidson officiating.
