

He was born on March 24, 1928 in Nelsonville a son of the late, Charles and Ada (Mount) Skiver. He attended Faith Memorial Church, retired in 1987 from AT&T, was a Member of the Scottish Right of Masons and was an avid woodworker and Ohio State Fan.
Darl is survived by his sons and a daughter-in-law: Steve and Mardee Skiver and John Stratton; grandchildren: Traci (Eric) Mahler, Tiffani (Steve) Rossi, Ashley (Andy) Kennedy and Karen (Scott) Davis; great grandchildren: Andrew, Zachary, Evan, Hannah and Marisa Mahler, Dominick Bornino, Delaini Rossi and Adam Kennedy; two brothers: Bill and Jack Skiver; and a sister, Carol Skiver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy (Six) Skiver in 2011; a brother, Charles Skiver; and two sisters: Katherine Waugh and Betty Slisher.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 in the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held in Faith Memorial Church at 11 am Tuesday with Pastors Jonathan Morgan and Mel Truex officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
