

David A Coulter, 85, of Lancaster, OH. died December 7, 2021. “Dave” Coulter, son of Vance and Edith Coulter, loving husband of Barbara J. Coulter, passed away peacefully on December 7th at the Pickering House-Fairhope Hospice in Lancaster, OH after a year-long progression of dementia. He is survived by his wife Barbara, sister Mille Ridenour and three sons Mark, Chris, Vance and daughters Patty and Lesley. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
David was a graduate of Glenford High School (Glenford, OH) in 1955 and The Ohio State University in 1959 in Agriculture Science. He worked nearly 30 years for the US Dept of Agriculture in Soil Conservation as an Area Conservationist. He was best known for his love of art and painting. His favorite works were paintings of barns, famous landmarks and various churches around the Lancaster area. He also enjoyed exhibiting his various art works with his wife Barbara at seasonal craft and art shows around central Ohio. He loved reading, home repair and studying his bible. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Viewing will begin at 1:00pm followed by 2:00pm service on Monday, December 13th at Fairfield Christian Church (chapel) 1965 North Columbus St. Lancaster, OH. Guests can park at entrance H on the Whittier side. In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that you consider a donation to the Pickering House-Fairhope Hospice of Lancaster, OH or dementia/Alzheimer’s research.
