David Neal Williams, age 80, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, May 4, 2025. David was born in St. Albans, West Virginia on September 24, 1944. He was the son of the late Emory and Lizzie Mae (Allen) Williams.
David was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Ruth Ann Williams; daughter, Laura Hammack; sister, Dorothy Benson; brother, Dennis “Pete” Williams; and sister, Gaynel Hanas.
David is survived by his daughter, Pamela(Kevin) McCarty; grandson, Aaron(Carrie) Hammack; grandson, Kurt Hammack; granddaughter, Lindsay(Michael) Russell; granddaughter, Emily(Justin) Brady; grandson, Zachary McCarty; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Doug, and Jon Williams, Julie(Fred) Skaggs, and Janet(Rich) Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
David retired from Lancaster Glass after 40+ years of service. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, woodworking, and could fix almost everything.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW Post 1516, 116 Perry St, Lancaster, OH 43130 on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
