Donald L Beckley Sr.

In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his children, Donald Beckley Jr., Ronald (Cindy) Beckley, Dennis (Trene’) Beckley, Dawnice Beckley (Amir Marandi), Heather Beckley, Kimberly (Matt) Johnson; grandchildren; Ben, Doni Jo, Abrahm, Jeremy, Patricia, Jason (Alysia), Dennis Patrick, Sarah, Meagan, Mallory, Grace; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Devon and Kullen; sisters, Francis Marie Cumbo, Deloris Craig, Shirley (Champ) Smith and Barb (Howard) Braden; brothers, Paul Beckley and Eldon (Lora) Beckley; brother-in-law, George (Kathy) Johnson, sister-in-law, Charlotte (Frank) Dresbach; and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and his golfing buddies at Valley View Golf Course and the class of ’56 Breakfast Club at Traders Cafe.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Evelyn Beckley and his sister, Debbie Myers.

He was a longtime member of First English Lutheran Church, an Avid Golfer and lifetime member of Valley View Golf Club. Donald was employed at Essex Wire Corporation as a Supervisor and Tool and Die Specialist and retired after 18 years of loyal service from Metal Powder Specialties as Plant Manager.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First English Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian Dillahunt officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Monday at Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home.
