Estella Mae Elliott Cornell

Estella was born July 30, 1935 in Albany, Ohio. She was the only child of Howard Ancel Elliott and Dolores Katzenbach Elliott. She lived the first 35 years of her life in Athens Ohio. In 1953 Estella married Clyde Winland Cornell after graduating from Albany High School and soon became a family of four. In 1970 the family moved to Lancaster, Ohio. Estella retired after 17 years from Pickerington HealthCare as an LPN and was a charter member of the Cedar Hills Baptist Church of Lancaster. In March of 2012 she joined the fellowship of the Gender Road Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing games and cards. She enjoyed putting on a feast for others whenever the occasion arose, but her priory was her Lord and her family.

She is survived by a son Leslie Greg (Cathy) Cornell and their children Ben, Tessa, and Ellie of Reynoldsburg, a daughter Debbie (Tim) Moore and children Craig (Mae) Moore and Melissa (Kriss) Wiggins of Batesville, Indiana plus two great- grandchildren Alex and Rachel Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Howard in 1958 and Dolores in 2006, her husband Clyde Winland Cornell in 2003.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 21, 2012 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastors Jim Green and John Romig officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will take place 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour before the service.
