Gary Elswick, 76, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, at Pickering House in Lancaster, Ohio, surrounded by family. He was born July 10, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Travis and Lucille (Foley) Elswick.
Gary is survived by his daughters Jennifer (Eric) Voight and Julie (Kevin) White; grandchildren Haleigh (Jarrod) Norton, Kelsey (Kyle) Wurm, Spencer Voight, Joshua Voight, and Ryan Voight; and great-granddaughters Carson and Violet. He is also survived by his brothers Travis Edwin Elswick (Lynnette) and Richard Elswick, sisters Merle (William) Leonard and Teresa (Paul Infantino) Dancy, and his friend, Nancy Brewer.
A respected professional surveyor, Gary worked for Columbia Gas for many years before starting his own firm, RW Survey LLC, after retirement. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his love for adventure. For many years, he and Nancy shared a passion for traveling, creating countless memories on their many journeys together.
