Grace Irene Grubb

Grace Irene Grubb, 88, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023 at the Pickering House. She was born on April 6, 1935 in Lancaster to the late Forest L. and Mabel I. Miller. She was a 1953 graduate of Pleasantville High School. Grace was a member of the Dumontville UM Church. She worked as an office clerk for Anchor Hocking for 10 years. She was a full-time mother of four children and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a caring person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Grace is survived by her four children, Lisa (Dan) Evangelista, Larry (Lisa) Grubb, Linda (Vic) Blake and Lynn (Barb) Grubb; six grandchildren, Hillary (Joshua) Romack, Emmie (Dale) Meadows, Stephanie Knight, Janay Grubb, Jessica (Chris) Fetherolf, Brittnee (Huston) Walker; five great-grandchildren, Alexander Romack, Finnegan Romack, Cara Meadows, Sarah Knight, Caitlyn Knight; sister, Dorothy Shumaker; sister-in-law, Martha Robey; brother-in-law, John (Patty) Grubb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Grubb and her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 1 PM with Chaplain Mark Linn officiating. Burial will follow at Oakthorpe Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM until the time of services.
