Harold was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 25, 1940. He graduated from Lancaster High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree and later completed his post graduate work and earned his Master’s in Science degree from Indiana State University in Terra Haute, Indiana.
Harold was retired from a career at Davenport West High School. He was employed as an educator, coaching speech and debate for many years. Harold was a devoted member of the National Forensics League where he served in administrative positions for over twenty-five years.
He is survived by: nieces, Jan King and Tina Bigg and nephews, David Ochs and Tim Fahrer, great nieces, nephews, cousins and hundreds of students whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Carl and Juliana Keller, two sisters, Hilda Marie Fahrer and Dorothea Jean Ochs.
Memorial services will be held in Davenport, Iowa at a later date.
