Jeannette R. Scholl, 84 of Lancaster passed away on September 3, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Jeannette was born in Lancaster, Ohio on December 1, 1939 to the late Cecil and LuClair Rexroad. She was a member at First United Methodist Church. Jeannette was a teacher at Lancaster City Schools for over 30 years. She was a lover of all sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and wherever her students played. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting the beach. Jeannette also had a love for animals.
Jeannette is survived by her sister, Zelpha Rexroad; daughter, DeeAnna Scholl; son, Rex (Angela) Scholl; three grandsons, Kyle, Klay and Kolby Scholl and her special friends, Beth McKnight, Beth Miller, and Cindy Lavere.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Jeannette’s Life will be held on Thursday, October 17th at 7PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5PM-7PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the humane society or rescue group of your choice in memory of Jeannette.
