

Joanne Bibler, 88, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center. Joanne was born March 13, 1928 to the late David Wayne and Edna Marvine (Snoke) Goodwin. Joanne was an accomplished seamstress for many years and was an avid gardener. She attended the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church and was a Sunday school teacher at the First Presbyterian Church. But most of all, Joanne was a loving mother and grandmother.
Joanne is survived by her sons, Neil (Debrah) Bibler of Lancaster, and Chris (Lori) Bibler of Bremen; grandchildren, Amanda Bibler (Joe), Branon Bibler, Andrew (Brittany) Bibler, Corey Bibler (Amy), Alicia (John) Greenwood, and Jackie Bibler; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Cassandra.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bibler; her parents; and her sisters, Jackie Boch and Sammy Woodgeard.
Funeral services will be held at HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME on Monday April 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bremen, Ohio. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday and also 1 hour prior to the service.
