Judith Suzanna (DeVault) Boyer, age 82, passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2024. Judy was born on September 26, 1941 in Newark, Ohio to Lowell and Dorothy (Bushby) DeVault. Judy was a retired bus driver for Fairfield Union School and was a volunteer at Fairfield Medical Center for many years. She was a faithful member of the Zeigler Emmanuel Lutheran Church and an avid Fairfield Union sports fan. She was a member of the Sociables and was a former Pleasantville council member.
Judy is survived by her children Jerry (Kristi) Gee, Patricia Young, Don (Robin) Gee, and stepsons Duane and Jason Boyer; grandchildren Ashley Gee, Angel (Brian) Miller, Alison Gee, Kandi (TJ) Lott, Jerrod (Tiffany) Gee, Jennifer (Shane) Pickenpaugh, Holli (Tyler) Young, Shelby (Kyle) Lozier, Amber (Chaz) DeLeon, Adrian (Sierra) Balser, Austin (Nicole) Chuvalas and Brandon (Nan) Gee. Judy was proud to be great grandma to 24 very special great grandchildren with two more to arrive this summer. Judy is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband Jerry Boyer; her parents and stepmother, Edna; her son, Jeffrey; and her brothers Jim and John.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday March 5, 2024 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Mark McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday March 4, 2024 at the funeral home.
