June S Reedy

June was born June 1, 1933, the fifth of eight children, to Charles Oatley and Marjory Esther (Palmer) Holliday. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings George F. Holliday, Lawrence E. Holliday, Violet E. Jensen, Vickie C. Bacca, Charles, Jr. Holliday, infant sister Sue Etta, and husbands Jack Stevens and D. James Reedy.

June leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Jody Watson, three daughters, Shelley (Ron) Ruff, Sherri Stevens, all of Lancaster and Kathy (Bobby) Johnson of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Kelcey (Sky) Wilson, Hilary (Kyle) Maxam and Cory Mattingly; stepchildren, Jackie Ballenger, Jimmy Reedy, Cheri Spencer, Chris Shephard and Brian Reedy, step-grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and close, card-playing friends she considered family.

The family would like to thank all the nurses at FairHope Hospice, In-home Hospice Nurse Crystal Brannon, Drs. Tasch, Wilmer, Faulkenhein and all the nurses at Fresenius (Hocking Hills) Kidney Care for their kindness and compassion towards Mom.

Friends and family may call Wednesday, March 5 from 6-8 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral home and Thursday, March 6 from 10-11 AM with memorial service at 11:00. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery.
