Larry Glenn Nusser

Larry Glenn Nusser, 80, of Lancaster passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was born on April 1, 1944 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Glenn H. & Lima W. Nusser. Larry retired from Ohio Bell in Lancaster. Larry, strong in his faith, was a member of the Logan Christian Church. A talented musician, Larry, spent many years traveling to both play and enjoy his love of music, specifically Dixieland Jazz. His love of music was evident in his passion for bringing awareness to the Jazz genre as a board member of the Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society (COHJS). Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra (Sandy) Lee Nusser, whom he married May 3, 1969. Also surviving are daughters Rebecca (Chris) Yerkey of Kansasville, Wisconsin and Susanna Troidl of Lancaster; granddaughters Brittanee (Sean) Kelly, Brandee (Lucas) Stemen, Bethanee Homer, and Elizabeth Troidl; great grandchildren Taj, Donovan, Elena & Rowan Kelly and Raegan Stemen, all of Lancaster.

Visitation and funeral services will both be held at the Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home 436 North Broad Street Lancaster, Ohio 43130 Visitation will be conducted Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 2:00-6:00pm Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday, January 30, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in memory of Larry to the Central Ohio Hot Jazz Society (COHJS) at http://www.cohjs.org/ Family plans to hold a potluck/musical celebration of life in the Spring of 2025.
